It may seem like common sense to not flush anything down your toilet that is not human waste and toilet paper, but you will be surprised at the things we come across.The sewer system isn’t designed to handle these kinds of items. Flushing such items can not only cause damage to pumps, lift-stations and equipment at the sewer plant, but can also plug sewer mains and individual sewer lines resulting in back-ups into homes and businesses. Please properly dispose of these items in the trash, not the toilet.
